Some personal news: I'm joining CARTO!

Founded in 2012 as “CartoDB”, CARTO originally made open source tools for building maps on PostGIS. The product has since evolved well beyond that — integrating with data warehouses including Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, and Databricks — and offers a suite of tools and applications for geospatial analysis, visualization, and data science.

As a software developer at CARTO, my work impacts first-party applications like CARTO Builder, and popular open source libraries for large-scale geospatial visualization, including deck.gl and luma.gl.
